No body Wins

That's nothing wrong in integrating things in a creative and beneficial way, as long as your intention is proper and you know what you are doing.
Feng Shui has become a hot phenomena, and of course many people are riding its wave to gain personal popularity and profits.
We should be wary of things like Lin Yun's black hat sect and some funny stuff, which appear to be weird and illogical.
But again, don't make New Age or new thought movement the enemy of Classical Feng Shui.
If we are confident and clear about what we are studying and practicing, then honor your own treasure and shine - but don't undervalue others by putting them down.
I personally enjoy "The Secret" and Law of Attraction, and I like and practice FS as well. There's no contradiction. Confrontation and 'holier than thou' attitude only exist in our dualistic and conceptual mind.
Again, I am not saying that we should allow some FS superstitions and wong practices in continuing their marketing gimmick. But not EVERYTHING belong to so-called Classical FS is ultimately great and not ALL things in non-classical FS is absolutely BAD.
I like this saying by a master,

"In the black,
There is some white;
In the wrong,
There is some right;
In the dark,
There is some light;
In the blind,
There is some sight."
-Abhinyana

Don't you think it is talking about the Taiji and the Yin/Yang Principle?
If only we can humbly learn, and listen...
We must know and understand both fields before we can compare and judge objectively.

cheers and happy new year!
